Port Charlotte is one of several communities surrounding Charlotte Harbor on the Southwest coast of Florida.


        Prominent among them is the Grassy Point Sailing Community.
        The Grassy Point Sailing Community has both sail and power boats. Power boats can always use Sailboat waters, but the reverse is not true.
